Vol. 3 No. 1 (2022): Political Studies Forum

Political Studies Forum series publishes contributions by researchers in the field
of political studies, especially in connection to Central and Eastern European
politics. Papers previously published in the series focused on topics related
to EU enlargement, political elites, the dynamics of political parties in the
post-communist context, and security issues. In the future, the series aims at
broadening the scope of analysis to include new social movements, political
economy of the region, social change, and regional development.
Political Studies Forum is edited by the Politics Department in the Faculty of
Political Science, Philosophy and Communication Studies, West University
of Timişoara and welcomes contributions from researchers and academics
interested in Central and Eastern European politics. The series is published
at West University Press. The series’ first number was published in 2002. The
journal was published regularly between 2009 and 2014, when it underwent
editorial changes and, for several years, was put on hold. Since 2020, and
under the guidance of a new editorial team, Political Studies Forum resumed its
appearance.
Political Studies Forum series is related to the International Symposium ‘Ideologies,
values and political behaviors in Central and Eastern Europe’, organized by
the Faculty of Political Science, Philosophy and Communication Studies.
Currently at its 18th edition, the symposium has brought together scholars
from Romania, the UK, the US, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Slovenia, Poland
and other countries whose work contributed to the better understanding
of recent trends and evolutions in Central and Eastern European politics.
While related to the International Symposium ‘Ideologies, values and political
behaviors in Central and Eastern Europe’, Political Studies Forum is not limited
to publishing only those papers presented in the symposium. We welcome
scholarly articles pertaining to the fields of political science, political theory,
international relations, political ideologies, political philosophy, political
sociology, political psychology and thank all those interested in publishing in
the series for their contributions.
